WILL MY INSURANCE COVER MY VISIT?

Yes, If you have private health insurance with Podiatry cover your visit will be covered to some extent, However you should contact your health fund before your appointment to make sure! To make things easy we have a HICAPs terminal onsite so you can claim instantly :D

DO YOU HAVE ANY BULK BILLED APPOINTMENTS?

Unfortunately due to the amount rebated by medicare for a podiatry appointment being less that the minimal cost of our appointments we no longer offer a bulk billing service. However our reception staff can process an online claim for you on the day of your appointment which will see the medicare rebate transferred into your nominated account within 48 hours leaving you with only a small out of pocket expense for your podiatry appointment. For more information regarding this please chat to our reception team at the time of booking your appointment.

DO I NEED A REFERRAL TO SEE A PODIATRIST?

No, you do not require a referral to see a podiatrist privately.

WHAT DOES A PODIATRISTS DO/ TREAT?

Podiatrists look after all aspects of the lower limb specialising in foot and ankle health, from nail and skin care to sporting injury and even ingrowing toenails. If it has to do with your feet we can help!

WHERE EXACTLY IS THE CLINIC LOCATED?

Cockburn Central Podiatry is located in the Cockburn Aquatic & Recreation Centre (ARC) within the Lifecare Suite. Enter through the first set of automatic doors and the clinic is on the right.
